A Change in the Flight Plan
  • Transferable skills is a myth, one needs a loyal link to bridge the gap
  • From the hiring authority's viewpoint a person changing careers represents risk/cost/controversy
  • Sell your competence and character before skills
  • Best packaged and promoted, not the best qualified, gets the job.
  • Attending job networking groups should be determined by the value it provides you.
  • When will I get my job? -at just the right time.
  • Job comes faster when you work the plan. Proverbs 19:21 Many plans are in a man's heart, But the counsel of the LORD will stand.
  • In life, loss/change is inevitable, growth is optional
  • Will your life be different in 2010?
  • One can't wait until you are in the ER to get your life in order.
This is the last session in this series. Monday, 1/4/10 CTW will start with Session 1-Accepting the Ax-the emotions of the demotion.
