Final PowerLunch of the Season  Brooks Douglass has one of the most powerful stories about forgiveness that I have ever heard. On the night of Oct. 15, 1979, the then 16-year-old Brooks opened the front door of his family's rural Oklahoma home to a stranger asking to use the phone. Brooks had no idea that a simple act of hospitality would forever change his life. That fall evening, Brooks's parents were killed by the man and his accomplice. I remember it well because I was pastoring a church in Oklahoma and Brooks's father, who was also a pastor, was a friend of mine.  But this story of pain and suffering and sorrow is now a message of hope and redemption for the world through Heaven's Rain, a movie by Brooks. Join us tomorrow as we close out the season with this actor, film producer, attorney and former Oklahoma State Senator who authored ground-breaking victims' rights legislation.
