Dave Sanderson at PowerLunch
Tuesday, Oct. 11
On Jan. 15, 2009, Dave Sanderson, an application sales manager, was flying home from a routine business trip. Six minutes after takeoff from New York's LaGuardia Airport, the plane struck a flock of Canada geese. The next three words over the loudspeaker sent shockwaves of fear through the 150 passengers—

"Brace for impact."

Incredibly, pilot "Sully" Sullenberger landed the Airbus 320 in the nearest available place—the Hudson River. In the chaos and panic that ensued on the sinking plane, Dave was a true hero, making sure others made it out safely before himself. No lives were lost.

Bring a friend to hear this amazing story of survival and heroism. Come early for a delicious lunch at Main Street Café and stay after to meet Dave and let him sign the book Brace for Impact for you.
