Plano Campus  Pete Wilson is a pastor at Cross Point Church in Nashville, a place he says is filled with "people of different generations, different backgrounds, all on a journey to figure out what it really means to follow Jesus." His ministry stretches beyond Tennessee with the help of social media. He's a prolific blogger (read him at withoutwax.tv) and frequent Tweeter (find him @pwilson) and prominent FaceBooker. His latest book, Empty Promises: The Truth about You, Your Desires, and the Lies You're Believing, encourages believers to let go of hidden idols and truly follow God. "I wrote this book because I've seen a natural drift in my life toward things that cannot save me, deliver me, or fulfill me," Pete, father of three young boys, says.
