Greetings,

It's official -- we have now hosted 16 full years of the First Friday Book Synopsis, and on April 4, we will begin our 17th year.   We began our event in April 1998, and we are still going strong!

Except for a weather cancellation once or twice, we have met every single month -- presenting synopses of two useful and challenging business books -- since we began on April 3, 1998.

To begin our 17th year, Karl will present his synopsis of the newest book by Simon Sinek, Leaders Eat Last: Why Some Teams Pull Together and Others Don't  (Portfolio, 2014).

And I will present my synopsis of (XLR8) Accelerate: Building Strategic Agility for a Faster-Moving World by John P. Kotter.  (Harvard Business Review Press, 2014).  John Kotter is always insightful, and this book has received reviews of high praise.

We hope you will join us on April 4.  Put the date in your calendar; invite a friend, or two; come learn with us.  I think you will find it to be a valuable use of an early Friday morning.
