Going digital before birth

"There has been a lot of concern about young people posting too much information about themselves online, but a study commissioned by security company AVG found that 92 percent of U.S. children have some type of online presence by the time they are 2 years old. A third of U.S. mothers posted pictures of newborns, and 34 percent of U.S. moms said they had posted sonograms of their as-yet unborn child."

This is why those born since 1980 (Net Generation) and 2000 (Generation i) will transform society.  They have grown-up digital to quote Don Tapscott.  Their life experiences are all things digital which creates different values than more seasoned generations.  According to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, the Net and i Generations will become more than 50% of the USA workforce by 2015.
